About This Project
A development of approximately 135 allotments undertaken in five stages situated on a sloping site at Gawler South. GREENHILL has provided both civil and landscape services across the development.
As the development had not been approved by Council prior to GREENHILL’s engagement, it was important to provide sound advice in regards to stormwater, discharge and sewer, to gain the necessary approvals.
The development has been released in stages with GREENHILL completing a master plan, detailed design and headworks required for the entire site.
The site sits adjacent an existing creek with many large existing trees, a key element of the project was to retain and protect this area throughout the civil and landscape works. This required a well-thought out design and collaboration between the civil and landscape teams to create a large kickabout space adjacent this area.
